Step 1
Download DroidRootHelper and Terminal Emulator (Jack Pelvich) Both can be found FREE in the market.

Step 2
Open DroidRootHelper, Click menu and download the TOOLS – Click on GET THE TOOLS

Step 3
After downloadin the TOOLS from DroidRootHelper, you must extract them (becuase its a zip file) to the root of the sd card. Keep the folder named TOOLS.

Step 4
Mount Mtdblock4
Install chmod Busybox
Install chmod flash_image
Flash Recovery 99.1b
Rename Recovery
Unmount System mtdblock 4
Sync
Reboot Recovery

Step 5
In recovery mode create a back up file using advanced nandroid back up, Check all boxes then click perform backup, once done use power button to cycle back out, and reboot.

Step 6
Update recovery to latest version- Copy Recovery-0.99.2b.img file to the ROOT of your SD card, you must be mounted via USB to do so. Now you use Terminal emulator to copy those commands which will update you to the 99.2b.

Step 7
Rename the backup file you just created, mount your phone via USB, locate your backup inside the folder called Nandroid, click on the folder that says BSD-0009879- etc… right click and rename the folder to what you are comfortable with, copy that folder to your desktop or location that you want to save it to on your computer.

Step 8
Open up terminal emulator and type in commands EXACTLY like I am showing… Then reboot recovery and your done =D

1st Way: Disk Cleanup

Start ~ All Programs ~ Accessories ~ System Tools ~ Disk Cleanup (3rd One Down).

More Information- The Disk Cleanup program is a computer tool (Included in Microsoft Windows XP) designed to help free up space on computer users’ hard drive. It cleans out all the old and unnecessary files that may be lingering in any of your computer’s drives.

2nd Way: Disk Checkup

My Computer ~ Right-Click on C: Drive ~ Properties ~ Tools Tab ~ Under “Error-Checking”, click Check Now ~ Check the Second Option and click Start.

More Information- As you use your hard drive more and more over time, it can develop bad sectors. Bad sectors slow down disk performance and sometimes make data writing (Such as file saving) difficult, or at times, virtually impossible. The “Error Checking” program scans your hard drive for bad sectors, and also scans it for file system errors to see whether certain files or folders are misplaced.

If you use your computer daily, you should run this program at least once a week to help prevent any loss of data.

Also, most of you may be wondering why you need to have CFW already just to make these things, which only let you install CFW….it’s like a loop that you don’t know how to get into. Don’t ask me what the point is of making a pandora battery / magic stick if you already have CFW. It might be to help a friend.

For those of you that are watching this video and have a PSP with official Sony firmware on it, this video WILL NOT help you. Look else where on how to get custom firmware. There might be ways to get CFW on your PSP without a pandora battery. OR WHAT YOU COULD DO is purchase a pandora battery and magic memory stick off the internet and use it on your official firmware PSP to install custom firmware on it.
