Create Help Files

This is the third video in the Left 4 Dead Authoring Tools video set. This explains how to create a nav file. After this video, you will be able to play the level as if it was a real level. Creating a nav file is easy and only involves a few commands:

director_stop
nav_edit 1
z_debug 1
nav_mark_walkable
nav_generate_incrimental
nav_clear_selected_set
nav_split
bind
mark
clear_attribute
nav_build_ladder
nav_mark
nav_connect
nav_begin_area
nav_end_area
nav_save

This tutorial will show you how to use Samba to share a directory on your Linux machine across your network, accessible by Windows, Linux, and Mac machines.
