how do i find microsoft exel files that were deleted on my computer?

any help would be great i am not that good with computers.

If they aren’t in the recycle bin anymore, you can still recover them. When Windows ‘deletes’ a file, it doesn’t actually remove the contents of the file, just the link of a name/dir to the contents. Chances are that your files are still intact, they just don’t have a name anymore (so you can’t see them in Explorer, etc).

What you can do is undelete them. Google ‘windows undelete’ and you’ll find tons of apps that do this.

    Go and open your recycle bin Click on the name and restore, it might work

    Check the recycle bin. You’ll find the icon on the desktop, if it’s not there, then it’s probably completely gone and there’s not much that can be done
