I have nokia n95-1. symbian S60v3. I was using mobichm but its giving me some problems. It does not open some of the chm files and the ones it does open if you open 2 chapter, you wont be able to open 3rd.Making a bookmark makes it worse. please help.

I dunno why. Its been a long time that I cant read my help files of any software. F1 is not working. I think the help files are .chm format? Could anybody help? Or do you know any software that could open my help files? Preferably free one. Thanks

OK, its your system problem, I think your system missed a file hh.exe. Download it or copy it from others and then copy it to C:\WINDOWS. It could be solved

if you are concerned, scan it, or open it on a linux machine. That’s what I do. ah also I found this

EDIT: sure any file type can contain bad stuff. It just depends on how you read the file. just be smart when you read/open it.
In the above link, at the end of the file, there are a list of programs that would probably allow you to open a .chm file with relative safety.

For rar files you can install 7-zip (free to download from this link: http://www.7-zip.org/ ).
For chm files you can install xchm (free to download from here: http://xchm.sourceforge.net/ ).
Before going for the download check if they are available in the ditribution’s repositories.

Compiled HTML Help File is shown in the file type column.

Just like any Windows file type, just double click on it. It will open automatically with a program called hh.exe.
