I bought a domain at Domain.com and I am also hosting my domain there as well. I am somewhat new at this. I’ve built my web page and now I’m trying to upload it t webspace, but when I upload my files, it doesn’t show up on my website. I don’t know if they’re some settings I need to change first in order to enable the webspace to start showing my files or what.
Any help is greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
If it has been a new set up and at least 48 hours hasn’t gone by, your site hasn’t been picked up by the servers. You need to make sure your nameservers have been set to point to your new domain name.

Sound obselete isnt it? But that’s what our missionary asked me to help her. She just came from home service and upon return to the field she wanted to convert her wordperfect files to msword. Has there any software that could do this?
No need for software to change just go to the document and go to save as and choose from the list of file types and then choose save as microsoft word document.

IM researching how greek mythology relates to harry potter. Seems pretty easy but the truth is im having trouble finding information. So if anyone could help or had any ideas that would be greattt.. thanks so muchh i appriciate itt
Also im terrible at writing thesis statements. any advice to make this one sound a little better?
: Author J.K Rowling uses Greek Mythology to exemplify many of Harry Potters characters, symbols, and stories.
A lot of the names in Harry Potter have references to Greek Mythology.
Here’s a link to a site that details the origins of the names of everything from the characters to places and spells.

I want to be able to get rid of pc but want whoever gets it to be able to use currently installed programs such as excel, word, powerpoint, etc. Operating system and Windows were installed by company I purchased pc from years ago so I don’t have disks to reinstall if I were to erase the hard drive. Can anyone help?
If you’re planning on just giving away your license for these programs then that’s fine, however you will not legally be allowed to install and continue to use these programs on your new computer. Now if you don’t have any disks and the company that sold you the computer just pre-loaded all the software, especially Windows and Office (Word, Excel, etc) Then they broke the law and so did you by accepting this and by using these programs. Play it safe and kill the system. Do a low level format, also referred to as Zero Filling (not a regular format) on the hard drive and then let the recipient of the computer deal with his / her own operating system and applications. That person may not even want to use Windows but may prefer Linux.
Barkley …: Your method is flawed and data deleted in that fashion can easily be recovered. When you simply press delete on files they actually don’t get deleted; the space looks like it’s deleted and empty – but it is merely "ready to be overwritten", hence the countless data recovery utilities out on the market. Even if you format your hard drive or remove the partition, the data can be recovered. You have to do a low level format.
