Hi. Does anyone know how to make html files open up in a window/screen in a powerpoint slide without opening an external browser to view it?
I would integrate the html files created with hotpotatoes as exercise into my powerpoint presentation without making it open a seperate application just to run it.

Our teacher told us to write the sources at the end of our research.
he said to write it in this form:
[1]name of the authors,"name of the article",publish company,PP(means the pages of the article which it has got published),date
[2]…
.
.
.
Now my question is about PP(page number) which is expected to be a range for example like 400-405 or a page like 400.
I have a Source which i have both its e-book,and i have seen its book too. But we should write its e-book specification, not the book’s for the source.
But the e-book,has nothing due to PP on it(page number at the start of it,nor at the end of it.)
But it(e-book) contains almost all of the pages of the the original book.
its a book in 200 pages.
I wonder is PP in this case as same as the number of the book pages?
should i write 1-200 ?! or 200?
Or the PP in the article is different from number of book pages,in this case?
Your question asks about PDF files. The page numbers on each page don’t necessarily match the numbers at the bottom of the Adobe Reader screen.
I would use the page numbers printed on each page, not the Adobe numbers. But. If the ebook has no printed page numbers, then I would use the Adobe numbers.
With ebooks, I think you have to be specific where you saw it. The web address, I should think, is very important also.

My computer doesn’t have Microsoft Genuine Software. Would anything happen if I click on the link Microsoft gives me to get the genuine software, such as deletion of files or anything?
it would probably not let you use them, but it wouldn’t delete anything…just download a crack that mimics genuine software and you should be fine (^_^)

to fund his programmes utilizing Sri Lanka as a launching pad?
“As part of his peace mission, Ravi Shankar also met up with several leaders including Opposition leader Ranil Wickramasinghe and US Ambassador to the country Robert Blake.” Sri Lanka continues to be much more realistic about methods used to meet civilian need.

3000+ civilians are reported as being sick or injured and receiving treatment in hospitals in the North.
Thank you WHO for supporting IMPORTANT initiatives for health care for Sri Lanka’s war affected

The UN continues to have access to IDP populations though the request to enter the Terrorist Held Zone has been denied

Why is it that these Blake/Wickremesinghe/Sri Sri (and the like) meetups conclude with such crass stupidities as requests/challenges to resettle civilians in 3 months?

BTW Sri Sri seems to be a big favorite of a certain loafers – as they attempt to interject his $150 pp "workshop" at every possible opportunity.
As exchange rate has decreased contrbutions in other currencies would be greatly appreciated.
Then there are the political opportunists from abroad that will say anything to get some media face time.

No it’s not true.

This is a book I read years ago and would like to read again. I don’t know the title of the book or the author, just the basic story. Is there anyplace on the web that could help me find the title and author?
You could describe it here, many book searches have been solved on this board.
If you don’t have any luck here, you could try:

http://www.goodreads.com/group/show/185.What_s_The_Name_of_That_Book_
http://www.whatsthatbook.com/

Or as the other poster mentioned, you could try entering keywords into Google books and see if you get what you are looking for. Good luck!

Flash professional is $699.00 and I can’t find anything cheaper do edit simple flash files.
Flash needs to be converted to avi before it can be played with. Most people use WinAVI which costs about $40, but the one below is free. Once you convert the file to avi throw it into your favorite video editor and do whatever you want with it. As for creating a flash movie, the only way I know is with WinAVI or Allok and both cost about $40. It would be less expensive to upload avi to Youtube, then download your video as a flv file if flv is what you need.

In any software help file can’t be open, some error reporting by system. How to over come this problem?
Please direct me in step by step.
You can open a Browser (Internet Explorer) If the file is located on your computer, drag and drop it in the open browser.
You might have a wrong file association, this means that your computer for some reason doesn’t know which program to use to open html file.
Assuming that you are in Windows, right click on your html file > properties > Open With, click on Change browse to Internet Explorer.exe in program files ( or whatever browser you use ) – tick the box which says "Always use the selected program to open this kind of file"

I have read some of the books in a series called The Dresden Files (and 11 part series [so far]). My question: Is the author, Jim Butcher, planning on finishing the series off good with the 11th book or is he continuing the series on for a while more?
From Jim-Butcher.com:
"Jim has stated on several occasions that he is planning to write a total of about 20 Dresden Files "case books" like those we’ve read so far, then cap off the series with an Apocalyptic Trilogy."
http://www.jim-butcher.com/news/000187.php
According to Wikipedia, the 12th book is called Changes, set to be released in April 2010.
